Trespass: Uncommissioned Public Art

Updates from and letters to the editor

About the Editor

Ethel Seno is the editor of the upcoming TASCHEN book Trespass: Uncommissioned Public Art by Carlo McCormick in collaboration with Wooster Collective.
“I proposed the art and photography book to TASCHEN in 2007 as an answer to what I might best contribute to the international community using my publishing experience and interests. Working with so many outstanding individuals — collaborators, artists, photographers, without whom the book would not have been possible — has been an adventure from the start. In looking at the subject anew our belief as authors is that Trespass will make people think and give historical context back to the graffiti and Street Art movement for renewed inspiration to create.” This site is here for you as the project comes to completion this year.

Ethel Seno grew up attending an international school in Tokyo, Japan. She moved to the United States for university in 1998 and completed her studies at Wesleyan’s College of Letters. In 2003 she moved from New York City to Los Angeles to work at TASCHEN America’s editorial office. She has been working independently since 2007.
